With young professionals beginning to settle into their careers, there are many facets of the job world that they’ve yet to discover. In a recent LinkedIn post by SHRM President & CEO, Johnny C. Taylor Jr., tells us that, “Studies show today’s entry-level employees are less prepared for the workforce than their counterparts were 5 years ago. Specifically, some struggle with communication, collaboration, and adaptability.”
How, then, do HR leaders tackle these issues? Taylor left it open to his audience, polling the audience on what they thought was most effective to teach these young professionals these skills.
